Meet our faithful men

The character and effectiveness of any church is directly related to the quality of its leadership. All throughout Scripture we see the importance of godly overseers and we see men who loved and served God; who walked with Him and followed His ways. At this congregation, you will find God-fearing men who wake up, ready to serve the Lord, with a commitment to the faithfulness that God commands. The men here are grounded in their faith and understand the tremendous level of responsibility to preach and teach God’s word with fear and accuracy (James 3:1). We are passionate about being a light, calling men back to God’s Word through our words, but most importantly our actions. The Vegas Drive leadership is deeply committed to being there for anyone who comes seeking God.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF TEACHING
A ceaseless effort is made to carry out the perfect will of our Lord Jesus. Never cutting corners or withholding our efforts
Serving The church
Members That Serve
While the Vegas Drive church does not currently have any Elders or Deacons, we are hopeful we will soon be able to appoint men who meet the qualifications for such as listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-9 to serve in these offices. In concert with 2 Timothy 2:2, the Vegas Drive church has been blessed with several faithful men who are astutely knowledgeable in the Scriptures with years of experience in teaching God’s word. Likewise, several of the women are also fully capable of teaching God’s word and teach all of our children’s classes. You and your family’s attendance and participation in our adult and children’s classes will ensure you and your children will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

The gospel must be preached because this is the command of Jesus. This work has been entrusted to us by the Lord, and so, nothing else matters but to live obediently in accordance to His will. Our reliable men preach God’s true Word – through sermons and Bible studies so that we can grow stronger in faith and become beacons of light that shine before others “so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Who made all things possible. – Matthew 5:16
